OddGrooves’ drummer Magnus Brandell grew up listening to drummers such as Buddy Rich, Papa Joe Jones, Elvin Jones, Tony Williams and the more modern guys like Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd and Dave Weckl and immediately set out to master their stuff. Since then he’s played with loads of jazz musicians in different small bands and big bands. The years at Berklee College of Music gave him even more knowledge of different styles in the jazz genre. In this pack Magnus delievers a wide varieity of waltz grooves in different styles, dynamics, tempos and different orchestrations on the drum kit which creates different moods for your music. Soft and loud hihat grooves, more simple ride-sidestick tom patterns and more complex, wild and loud grooves for your crazy ‘out’ solos, among others.
